Our client had agreed to buy a tenanted block of flats in london for £850k. The vendors' circumstance enabled him to negotiate a good discount to the actual value of the properties. The client lived and worked abroad and was looking for a lender who would lend against the value of the property rather than the purchase price. His existing lender refused to assist.
